Trailer tire inspection and adjustment method
1)Park the vehicle on a level surface without brakes.
2) Take a point on the front inner surface of the wheel hub inside the front axle, and one point on each side of the left and right sides, with a symmetrical position.
3) Take the center of the traction pin as the reference, measure the distance to the above two points, the requirement of L1-L2i of 3mm. if the difference is too much, adjust the front axle live lever until meet the requirements of the deviation.
4) Measure the front, rear axle hub corresponding point to check the measured value, the requirements of the old 181 -821 of 2mm, if the overshoot, adjust the rear axle live lever, so that the front and rear axles parallel until the deviation meets the requirements.
5) Tighten the fastening bolts on the front and rear tie rods.
6) After adjustment, drive about one kilometer without brake and stop at the same place, review the above dimensions, if there is no change, then the adjustment is successful.
7) Adjustment process should make the tie rod in working condition, that is, a turn of the tie rod, the car bearing to move, the tie rod adjustment role is normal.
